Hello Prof. Gedalin,

My name is Ori Freiman, and I take part in organizing the research seminars of the Jacques Loeb Centre for the History and Philosophy of the Life Sciences, directed by Prof. Ute Deichmann.

Monday next week (23/4), we will host Dieter Hoffmann from the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and adjunct Professor at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Hoffmann, a physicist who turned into a historian of physics, focused his research on the history of science and physics in the 19th and 20th centuries, in particular on biographies and institutional histories. Among other things he has worked on Max Plank, Einstein, and Max von Laue.

As our seminars provide an interdisciplinary forum, we kindly ask you to help us publicising his lecture among other physics colleagues and students.
If there is an interest, we offer members from the physics department to meet Prof. Hoffmann next Monday before the seminar lecture, which starts at 16:15.
Attached, the inviting poster.
